Old chapel of the Lady of Piety or the Quay, must his name to the fact of to have been transfered for here the image of  the Lady of the Ó, originating from the chapel of the Door of the Bank, demolished in 1821.  The building dates of the century XVII, having been remodeled in the century XIX after destruction occurred during the liberal fights.  In the interior, detaches-itself a altarpiece in carving of beginnings of the century XVIII, of the authorship of João da Costa.

Beginning for the North : OPORTO !

Hi Everybody !

These is my first post for all of you :
If you want to visit Portugal, begin for the North !

The city of Oporto it´s one of the most beautiful cities of Europe, with amazings landscapes ... it´s a perfect mix between his old heritage and the new concept of sustainable development.

In the next post, I´ll give you all the tips to visit the historic centre of Oporto, World Heritage by Unesco since 1996.
